HyChain the boardgame is a serious game about the different strategies for transitioning to a sustainable energy economy, designed as part of the NWO HyChain-ESI project. It aims to teach its players about the challenges involved in the transition to a zero-emission energy economy. Think about the balance between generated and imported energy, the choice various industries need to make between green electricity and hydrogen, and the regulation of this process by the government.
It's every football fan's dream to meet their heroes face to face, with the PSV AR project we made this dream a reality. Using a combination of Volumetric Capture and Augmented Reality glasses we project a (larger than) life sized representation of the PSV players in your living room, or the stadium to explore how AR experiences can impact audience engagement.
The objective was to find out if Virtual Production within resources constraints has the potential to yield final imagery comparable to those of feature-length films. VP, and specifically ICVFX, provides considerable benefits for an actor’s level of immersion in the diegetic world. Several test-shoots were conducted to determine whether audio can enhance this experience. They resulted in the formation of a comprehensive diagram for the assumed technical set-up, and a set of recommendations for future productions.
